F. Teuton (Shanghai) Co. Ltd. was established in the Wai Gao Qao free trade zone of Shanghai on 29th November 2002. We are the wholly owned subsidiary of F. Teuton Pte. Ltd. of Singapore, a procurement company with strong connections to many leading European companies whose procurement partners they are. We are the exclusive supplier to F. Teuton in Singapore for all their requirements from China. However, we also ship goods directly to customers in other parts of the world.
F.Teuton's engagement in China reaches back to 1998, when F.Teuton (Shanghai) Co.
Ltd.'s predecessor, a representative office of F. Teuton Pte. Ltd., was providing supplier liaison services to its mother company. F.Teuton's unique strength lies in the very close personal and business relationship we foster with both, our suppliers in China and our clients overseas. Our company and procedures are especially structured to understand the different environments as they apply to each individual instance and generate workable solutions, customized to each application. Not only do we speak the languages prevalent at either end of our supply chain but also understand the different interpretations of such words as quality or punctuality. We implement systems of control and support which are aimed at timely delivery of products whose quality meets or exceeds our clients' expectations.
Currently, we buy OEM parts made from metal, plastic or rubber as well as assembled systems and components that may comprise of parts made by different processes. Our clients are mostly manufacturers who obtain parts from us which are used in their own production or add-on products that we supply, ready packed for sale, directly to their warehouses. Because of the nature of our clients' business orders are planned many months in advance
, and it often takes a year or longer from first quote to first commercial shipment. On the other hand, once developed, an item may continue for 8 - 12 years.
We are now adding another exciting side to our business where we take existing products and offer them to customers world-wide.
